Tony Greenberg

Chief Executive Officer

Tony Greenberg is a real estate developer, entrepreneur and the CEO of Vertice Hospitality. He is the developer and co-owner of SingleThread Farms, a 3 Michelin starred, World's 50 Best restaurant and boutique hotel in Healdsburg, California. Prior to SingleThread, Tony was the VP of Development and Finance for Hudson Yards Dev Corp, the world's largest private real estate development project at over 14 million square feet. Over the last 20 years, he has over $1 Billion of real estate finance and development transaction experience and is an expert at understanding all areas of real estate economics, hospitality operations and management, financial feasibility, land use and zoning analysis, acquisitions analysis, leasing, property management, and obtaining entitlements. He has a deep network of institutional-level and taste-maker relationships and is known for negotiating fair deals that balance creative talent with financial acumen.

Kyle Connaughton

Chief Culinary Officer

Kyle Connaughton began his culinary career in L.A. with an apprenticeship at one of the oldest Japanese restaurants in the city and continued training in both pastry and savory at Spago Beverly Hills, The Dining Room at Ritz Carlton, Lucques, Hama Sushi, and A.O.C. This was followed by several years cooking in Japan for the famed chef Michel Bras and in numerous traditional Japanese cuisine restaurants. In 2006, Kyle joined Heston Blumenthal to become the Head Chef of Research and Development for the Fat Duck Experimental Kitchen. He is a contributor to the "Modernist Cuisine" series, a co-developer of the Culinary Science Bachelor's Degree program for the CIA, and co-author of the book Donabe - Classic and Modern Japanese Clay Pot Cooking. SingleThread was awarded 3 Michelin Stars in its second year of operation, and it's currently rated #37 on the World's 50 Best Restaurants list.

Katina Connaughton

Chief Agricultural Officer

With a committed focus to regenerative agriculture, Katina manages SingleThread's farm team and the twenty-four-acre farm property that contains our greenhouses, heirloom orchards, beehives, and livestock. A California native, Katina began her first foray into farming while she and Kyle were living with their 2 daughters in an agricultural community in rural Hokkaido, Japan. When the family moved to England, she further honed her culinary gardening skills overseeing a Victorian estate property before finally settling in Sonoma to earn a degree in Sustainable Agriculture and Horticulture. The farm serves SingleThread and the soon to be open Little Saint. In addition to leading the farm operations, Katina leads the hotel and restaurant's lauded floral team in its daily ikebana program; the Japanese art of floral arrangement.
